Install Super Nintendo SNES Games Emulator on iOS

SiOS SNES emulator installation process is quite a simple one and only requires that your device be running on iOS 6 to iOS 8. No computer or iTunes is required to install the app or ROMs.

Step 1: search iEmulators then click “Apps” in the top tabs.

Step 2: click on “SiOS: A SNES emulator.”

Step 3: You will be prompted with information about emulator. Scroll down and tap “Install.”

Step 4: a pop up notification asking “dl.boxcloud.com would like to install”SiOS” will appear, choose the “install” option.

Step 5: click the home button and return to the home screen.

Step 6: an error message reading “Unable to Download App: “SiOS” could not be downloaded at this time” will pop up. Click the “Retry” option.

Step 7: even after a couple of tries, the error message will persist. In order to correct this error, adjust date and time settings on your device and set the date at least two months behind the current date. Go to Settings > General > Date and Time, turn off the set automatic option and then manually adjust the date.

Step 8: once the above step is successful, SiOS continues the installation process automatically. Once installed, set back the date and time back to normal.

Step 9: after the emulator is complete, go to the Safari app on your device and find SNES ROMs

Step 10: once the SNES ROM is downloaded, open it in the SiOS emulation and simply enjoy your game.

Step 11: this step is more of a warning than a process. Avoid rebooting your device after installing the emulator as this will take you back to step 7.
